For that personalised, unique touch why not commission an original piece of artwork. Discuss with the artist the size of the canvas, the style of painting and the colours that compliment your room to create that perfect painting. If you see something you like in the galleries opposite and would like to have something similar, but maybe in a different size or colour then a commission would be ideal for you. I will endeavour to find the exact colour match for your choice of room. You can even send me sample colour boards, fabrics or wallpaper that match your decor for me to work from.

Commissioning a painting doesn’t mean that you are going to pay more either (as is the common misconception). All my prices are calculated on the same basis whether they are for sale in the galleries or unique to you. I also offer free delivery for artwork being shipped to any UK mainland address. A step-by-step approach to a commission

• Initial consultation with me to discuss your requirements. This can be done either in person (on-site where    appropriate, i.e. taking traveling distance into consideration), by email or phone

• Establish with you the most appropriate style, type of art and colours that compliment the space in question,  (photographs of the space are useful at this stage)

• Supply of a no-obligation quotation and project timetable - on your acceptance of the quotation for the work to be carried out, a non-returnable deposit of 30% of the final price is required before the commission can be started

• To ensure I paint exactly what you are looking for I will produce a sketch to show the painting’s composition and layout which would then be photographed and emailed to you for your approval before I commence the main painting

• I want you to be completely happy with your commission so once I have started your painting I endeavour to keep you informed every step of the way so you will receive regular email progress updates

• Once the painting has been completed I will email you with a final photograph for your approval

• At this final stage the balance of payment is required before the painting can be shipped to you. A signed certificate of authenticity is supplied with your painting.  I always find that the naming of a painting an important part of the whole process and if you wish to name your painting I will include this on the certificate of authenticity
