A Bit of FUN

Hooray - The Sun is Out !!

Hello to all and wow! isn’t it great that the sun is finally out and the days are warmer, I am so enjoying the garden at this time of year together with the lighter evenings - Hence more ‘Painting Time’ for me in my Studio. The beginning of the year just flew by for me as I was so busy with commissions sales & promo for my exhibitions, I have now, thankfully, caught up with myself. So onto the next stage.....’new abstracts’, below are a selection of some new paintings I have completed with an emphasis on flow & motion.. Hope you like them. Don’t you just love the colour of the bluebells when they venture out to see us in Spring? I was delighted to be asked recently to paint a beautiful bluebell wood - researching the project was great for me as I went hunting around the local area for the perfect scene, obviously this was a few weeks ago now as I don’t think there are many bluebells still around; the colour of the bluebells are astounding set against the fresh green of the leaves on the trees - here is the completed painting, in keeping with my loose abstract style, painted in oils on a 24x18” boxed canvas. I believe that it will be put into a frame which will, I’m sure, look stunning. Click on image to view full size.

Forthcoming Exhibition

I am very happy and thrilled that I have been asked to return to Spice Art Studios to exhibit more of my work there. Next time I will have more of my work on display, some of which I am currently working on, so there will be some fresh new designs on show.

The exhibition commences 2nd July running through to 14th August 2008
Preview Night will be Friday 4th July from 6.30 - 9pm - You are very welcome to come along to the preview and I will be sending out formal invites nearer the time with full details of location/map etc.

My work can now be bought via auction on eBay. There are paintings in my re-designed shop on the ‘buy it now’ option and there is also the option to ‘make an offer’ (I will consider all reasonable offers on my work).
